We Are The Ones

You have been telling people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered…

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.

It is time to speak your truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for your leader. Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.

At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt. The time of the one wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word ’struggle’ from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Garden Anarchy Part II

Freedom is a personal and intimate relationship that, in the end, is for the future generations so that they will be holders of the wisdom of the past for their own measures. This is to increase their degree of autonomy and self-determination so that they represent their interests in a responsible and self-determined way and act upon their own authority as nature intended. Let’s keep the magic alive.

For the interest of personal freedom and the right to choose our own medicine, I embark on this journey to stay out of the throws of “organized” medicine and in the ancient realms of teaching and mentoring the way of alchemy.

I am concerned at the state of our “health” and “health care” and that concern is enough for me be and become a rebellious gardener speaking out to that which is dark and evil. I grow my own plants and take pride in the life of all my green friends. My apothecary begins in the seeds that takes years to mature and travels to my kitchen for blending. I give space and time the freedom to develop relationships with this green way so that the “medicine for the people” stays alive. I am the new generation of plant lovers who is being asked by the plants to become a rebel for the connection of plant and humans by remembering and harnessing the past so that I give to the future the magical seeds.

Most of us know we are deep in the clutches of a controlling arm of state-controlled medicine. The game is played with the movers causing unnecessary “fear” in our views on healing. The chess players tell us they “protect” us, the people. The rules and regulations appear as “noble” for our benefit. The practitioners find themselves “paying” for their right to be healers joining boards and paying dues to a system that has no intent on healing. We are hobbled by bureaucracy and organized control and as such, we have moved far from the tenants of true health and healing.

“They” (the system) don’t want us to know or tamper with our materia medica. They tell us it is dangerous. They plant fear in our hearts. And, we are losing the song of stories the plants sing that has been handed down for generations. “They” want to dismantle the song into parts and pieces and label them drugs. They don’t want us to make our own medicine. They want our money. They want us to be “good” men and women and follow the standard rules. When we can’t recommend a fruit because that means we are dispensing medicine, gosh, it has gone too far. And, we have agreed to this on many levels. I am at a point in my life where I get any participation in that “system” is my acceptance of that “system”. You can’t be half in and half out. Frankly, I don’t accept it. So, I choose to stop and be a rebel. For me, it is a human rights issue that has taken the “kind” out of our ability to heal ourselves. It is an issue that causes us (wants us) to forget and neglect the wisdom of grandmother/father healing. It is intricately related to our freedom of choice. However, this principle of freedom of choice extends beyond the relationship with your “healer”. Herbal Medicine is the indigenous traditional healing system and a folk Medicine. It is the medicine of the people. And, whether we understand or acknowledge it or not, we are are being duped and we are in danger of loosing it.

There are many plants that legally have been nominated for “practitioner use only” — once again denying the public a freedom of choice. Unless you have sat in a classroom for 8 years plus, you can’t have a recognized patient/healer relationship. Patients are clients and you are “educating” them. You can not prescribe. You are not recognized. And, you are underground if you choose otherwise.

Let’s consider the freedom of choice of future generations. I don’t know how long the Empire of the Capitalist bureaucrats can sustain itself, but it’s already shown itself to be vulnerable and one day, (if we have learnt anything from history), fall it certainly will. What are we going to do then? Have we merged too intimately with the pharmaceutical monster? Will we remember our own medicine?

Do we have a choice? Well, we do! That choice is a personal one and one needs to be outside of the systems and “taken back”.

I am very blessed to have the resources to grow and make most of my own medicine. I am blessed to know the plants…to work with them daily. I am blessed to feel their characters and Spirit and intimate with them. I am also fully aware of how “the system” bites deeply into the heart of healers taking away their connection and demanding the “be clinical” way.

Herbal Medicine’s great and enduring strength is that it can function to a high degree of sophistication on spectacularly low technology. That doesn’t mean it isn’t an amazing “art”. It takes much wisdom and time to understand the plants and it definitely is not taught in classrooms. The ancient art of alchemy will have a come back..but that come back will happen in our gardens and kitchens.

Humbly, I feel I am one of many custodians of this priceless knowledge and I am determined to protect it and keep it safe, come what may. I continue to learn. I have lots to learn. I am blessed to be in a situation where I can dedicate most of my waking world to learning. My garden and kitchen are my laboratory.

Many of you may not truly realize how wonky our state controlled system is. After many years of discovering the claws of organized health care, I have learned that I do not want to be a state-controlled. That means I can not call myself a “healer” in the world of business. I am simply a gardener teaching others what I know. But, I also know that what I am doing is crucially important for so many levels of healing from the health of the soils, the life of the plants, the reclaiming of the alchemy of making medicine for the protection and force of future generations. I intend to pass on this to my daughter and my daughter’s daughter so that they are infused with the power of the sacred world of plants.

However, I am very concerned for the fate of herbal medicine as a whole. I am convinced that modern medicine is a runaway train careering towards disaster.

Herbalists are by nature people who choose freedom — we don’t like being organized. But, if you turn aside from the “organization”, you are deemed a criminal. You are feared into “being a good person” and “playing the game presented”. Herbalists out there are suffering — they’re not doing well. There is a pouring out graduates from the various universities and schools of texted book teachings that have little to do with a garden. And, we are doing precious little to help them gain a living understanding of their work.. Instead all we have is the fond hope that once we’re registered, they will find work. You must be joking! Herbal medicine is about the garden, first and foremost. It takes years of labour in the garden to even have a small understanding of healing.

So an even greater priority is for us to place a hand on the reins of self empowerment and get back to the garden and kitchen. At this point, we need to be prepared to sacrifice so that what we gain is a remembrance that this is “the people’s medicine”. If you don’t take courage and grasp the nettle of the medicine of the people, it will be forever lost. I get that many do grasp this loss of our medicine, but they are also operating within the system because of fear. They have been bullied to be “politically correct” and participate in that system. We have been manipulated to have a “picture” of what healing looks like that has been drawn from the corridors of hospitals and doctor’s offices. We have placed our trust in this white coat environment and have made gods out of the practitioners. After all, they studied long and hard in the white classrooms and lecture halls. I wonder how many nurses and doctors have sat in their own garden surrounded by the plants they grew and deeply listened. Sure, some “doctors” and “nurses” are gardeners…but do they get it? I wonder how many have seen a plant at the side of a road, stopped, took a sample and spent hours and hours studying it (meaning smelling, touching, tasting, making elixirs, drinking, infusing, feeling)? I wonder if health care is more about money than healing.

I am also gaining more and more shitty understanding that we, the people, are being plagued with unnatural disease. The medicine of our future will be coming from those who have intimately understood the mineral and electro-magnetic power of the plants to protect us. Alchemy will make’s its’ comeback in a future magic required to protect us from biological warfare. Now, this is an other story and I will present on this too in the future. It has been on my mind and in my heart for a long time.

So here is my little presentation of our “rights” to use the “medicine of the people”…presented from my garden with my medicines cheering me on…. It is the right of all people to use plants for their sustenance and healing. It is our essential freedom to seek advice from those who have devoted themselves to the knowledge and application of the health-giving properties of garden and plants.

Herbal Medicine is the indigenous natural healing tradition of the ALL Peoples. It is a living tradition that has adapted and remained relevant through all times. It is more about the chemical parts of the plant.

We, the gardeners, are charged as custodians of this living tradition, for the benefit of all who would choose it and for generations to come.

We conjoin with indigenous traditional healers throughout the whole world in seeking to protect our plant heritage and maintain the practice of all such natural therapies. This medicine can not be regulated by office workers or contained to articles of legal tampering.

We are determined to keep this aspect of our knowledge alive for ourselves and future generations as an integral element of a healing planet.

Thank you for listening so patiently. Now it’s over to you….it is a choice!

I Am A Garden Anarchist

I know the gardens hold a secret to our survival…at culinary, medicinal, emotional, organization and psychological levels. If we look to nature to discover how to “operate”, I think we will have perfect solutions.

So, I began this article by searching “plants power” assuming those plants that thrive despite human eco-destructive ways might be good teachers to look too. In this search, the results showed pictures of “power plants” of the industrial world. My gosh, how far down the rabbit hole have we gone? The machine is gobbling up the world.

Recently, I was invited into an apparent “good” opportunity to have increased “clinical” prestige in regards to the “work I do”. These offers always make we stop and think. What is IT I am doing? And, once again, my decision was clear…. to stay in the garden. It is not always the most “accepted” approach as “the profits” monetary are small and tiny, the “idea” is lost or hidden from many’s views and it almost appears “unreasonable” in a power and successful hungry world. But, I stayed true to my heart and belief that healing arts always and forevermore starts in the garden and should always have that connection. It should never, ever be about money. And, taking a personal stand for the true “value” and essence of healing is one way I know, deep within, we can and will survive the machines of mankind that have almost suffocated our rational minds.

This amounts too “I have an anarchist approach and my garden approves”.

My current medicine garden here in Ecuador appears like a council of varying countries. The circle is quite eclectic and represents many cultures and countries. I’ve harnessed and nurtured the creative spirits from my past living spaces and I have surrounded myself with these old friends. The garden holds the wonky northerners, the crazy singing easterners and the wild westerners who dance with the southerner’s sultry growths. The green house holds the “royal herbs” who require a little extra attention and tendering. I have taken great measures to make sure they are all happy, healthy and feel welcomed.

And, in return, the give back! The magic of alchemy is one answer to locating and harnessing a “freedom” well beyond the current concept we have of “natural” and “wholistic” medicine. Acutally, “natural” medicine is not really that “natural” anymore.

Let me explain ….just as with every plant in the garden, every tincture jar I make holds a story. Each plant, medicine jar tell stories of the dying ecosystems and places gone forever. The plants with a little help and care have very self-resistance-voices and speak out against the our concept of “natural health”. If you give it a chance and a little encouragement, the plants are our allies.

For people not lucky enough to roam throughout the wilds or have time, energy or interest in creating a productive garden you can purchase herbal preparations such as tinctures and teas that cradle the healing properties echoed at length in plant healing. But too many have lost interest in going deeper than “a purchase” for their health. Actually there are far more who “pretend” to be nature lovers…or would like to see themselves as such. I have an uncanny and empathic gift to see right through these people. Sometimes it feels more like a curse, but it is also the energy that drives me to “speak out”. Too many are concerned about their social status: see my pretty garden? Some are more concerned about the small town gossip..”.I will hang out at the social hub more often than my garden”. And, a common view is “money is the tool towards healing”. This last concept has infiltrated all our avenues and ways of living. I will tell you loudly and boldly: my time spent in the garden and in the kitchen alchemizing is worth a trillion times itself to the future of our children. I hold that with honour I will not (ever, ever) buy in to the industrial, machine way.

We all know we are in a consumerist society and have been manipulated to accept certain “ways” a “dealing” It is easy to ignore the connections between a bottle on a shelf and a living, growing plant out in the garden. It can be hard to know if that bottle contains plants that grow a mile away or on another continent. It is difficult to marry the relationship of the soil, bugs, air and water within that bottle of medicine.

For me, this is far more about educating ourselves about the plants we use to nourish and heal. If you have a bottle of medicine, you should be able to visit the plant in that container. That relationship needs to be desperately re- awoken.

In this connection, we ARE able to build a whole new system of healing that isn’t about regulations and retardations. It is one that can support our movement away from the corporate power structure that medicine has become and back to the garden where it all begins.A medicine cabinet should always be next to the garden. Anyone in the business of healing and who sees money as the primary force (maybe even the need) should take a good hard look at themselves. They are not natural beings and their integrity to true healing is misguided.

The development of a new medical system, or the recovery of ancient models, is a future link in our safety net when industrialism fails. Rest assured, it will and is failing. However, at this time, those who “get this” and choose another way will be seen as the rebels…the rebels of the future medicine. It is not an easy path as it requires you oppose the current system and in some ways, go underground for the time-being.

On the flip side, we all have access to industrial medicine and many will excuse their participation/use of this form of “fake” medicine because it offers a fast, temporary relief. However, as I see over and over, the results are a feedback loop that actually causes more problems. The real work (natural way) is not so immediate in relief..and it does mean that suffering is part of the healing process. You are forced to look at all levels of healing in that suffering. The result is it will re-establish our connection to the real medicine that is a direct line from the Earth and the Mamma who feeds us.

This goes for all so called “natural medicines” too. Herbal medicine that is popular these days is presented to us by the media, so-called green capitalists, profiteers and lawmakers. It really has brought with it very little true and deep healing. Ultimately it is a failure….and is crumbling before our eyes. The plants and herbs are reduced to capsule form or worse, to their “active ingredients”. They become just a tool to work with in the same body-machine that industrial medicine sees people as being. They become no different than pharmaceutical drugs or a scalpel blade. that messes around with the parts. They are ultimately less effective because the herbs have been taken out of the system of healing (garden) in which they have their strength.

Sometimes and sadly when the marketers of herbal products get their hands on a new “miracle cure,” it can mean extinction for the plant. This is especially sad when so many living creatures go into useless products or are wasted on conditions that they don’t treat. (eg: have you heard of Echinacea shampoo?) Many herbs I wildcrafted 20 years ago are now close to extinction in the wild. I fear this will happen to “chaga” in the near future too.

There is also the “fads” of miracle herbs and we tend to believe everything we read and hear online without looking at or researching the “qualities” of the plant. A great example is Frankincense essential oil. The healing properties and amazing compounds of Frankincense are found in the resin acids and make up the heavier resin portion of the oleo gum resins. In distillation, these resins are left behind. For this reason, it is not physically possible for there to be anything but trace amounts of Boswellic acids in the essential oil of Frankincense no matter what the company reps tell you! It is safe to say that all the literature and information that claims Boswellic acids are found in the essential oil of Frankincense are written and disseminated by essential oil companies who seek to boost their sales of Frankincense essential oils. We need to know and research our medicine like it was to be our best friend.

I believe there is an alternative to the so-called “alternative medicine.” Michael Moore, herbalist and author said it best in one of his lectures: “… the herb business mostly revolves around recently marketed substances with new research, and it comes from them to us. Whereas we’re trying to establish as much as possible (in this “lower level” if you will) the fact that we need to create a practice and a model that’s impervious to faddism. We’re trying to practice in a way that derives from practice rather than from marketing. Not from above to below but from below around….Keep it local. No centralization because centralization kills everything.”

So, indeed, we need to localize. I also feel we need to rid ourselves of the concepts of “clinical settings” and “proper” set ups. A healers home and garden is the scene for the healing. Healing is most ancient model on earth to date. We knew it before we were people. Animals know how to use plants to medicate themselves. Plants play the same game. We are far too afraid to be in wonder in the natural setting. We have full resources available at our fingertips. There are millions/trillions of books. We have people who “know” how are eager to teach, mentor and train. A herbalists garden is far more healing than an “office”.

This Ol’ n New way of healing needs to be subtle and requires a lot of self-knowledge, or at least self-awareness. It uses intuition as a diagnostic tool. It uses the senses and plants as guides. It beckons us into relationship from the garden alchemized medicine. When we take herbal medicine (or food for that matter) we are taking in part of the plant’s growing environment; everything it ate and drank and experienced has formed the medicine you’re depending on.

When we are healed by plants, we owe it to them to look out for their kind and the places where they live. Traditional plant-gatherers often have a prayer they recite before they take anything from the wild or they return gifts in a form of gratitude (tobacco being a favourite) Personally I say “OK, plant. You heal me and I’ll look out for you. I got your back because I know you got mine. No one’s gonna build over you, or log you, or pick too much while I’m around and I will ensure you have all power to grow stronger and better and bigger” So this true herbal healing system has at its heart a deep environmentalism and a commitment to the Earth. It is a conversation.

The bioregional concept is important to this model of healing. Plants’ actions in our bodies are really quite limited by the chemicals they can produce from sunlight and soil. For every big-name herb on the market cut from the rainforest or dug from the mountains, there is most likely a plant with a similar action growing in your watershed. Some of the best medicines to maintain good health grow in vacant lots and neglected gardens around the world.

I intend and I am creating a little village of people who are responsible for their own health. We gather or grow our own medicines and food and is a primary “rule” of the village purpose. These days we are far too dependent on the power structure of industrial health care — the secret society of the doctors, the white-male-dominated medical schools, the corporate decision makers with their toxic pharmaceuticals and heartless greed and labs full of tortured beings. That dependence is one more thing keeping us tied down and bound to the “state” and “system”. . With a new system of healing, based on self-knowledge and herbal wisdom, we will be that much more free.

People who have some background in herbal healing can be a great help to those of us just learning. Healers who are working to form this new model, whether collectively or through their individual practices, should keep in mind that commitment to the Earth and a decentralized form of operations are central to truly revolutionary medicine. It is hard to resist the machine…it will allure you with false promise. But, truly, money is a fake medicine.

In these times of change, everything is being examined and either destroyed, rebuilt, or created from our hearts. Industrialism has affected every aspect of our lives — we are just starting to realize how much has been lost. Medicine is just one part of the machine that we have to take back and re-create into a form that works for the society we will become. Every herb, pill, and procedure should be judged on its sustainability and accessibility to small groups of people. People really need to get back to the garden. We can start with ourselves, within our communities and circles, but should never stop expanding outwards until industrial medicine rusts in a forgotten grave, a victim of its own imbalances. It takes integrity to take a real good look at true healing.

I am honoured to have known and live with the special plants in my garden and to have studied their uses as medicine. I am honoured to have them within this new land and space. And, I see myself as one of many guardians re-developing a new system on ancient ways in a corrupt environment for future benefit. I am a garden anarchist.

You are welcome to visit my garden!

What is Authenticity?

What is Authenticity?

What is authenticity?

We are, in Sartre’s words, “condemned to be free”.   In his essay/lecture “Existentialism is a Humanism,”

a) In choosing myself, I choose who I am;

b) In choosing myself, I choose a certain type of human being in the presence of others;

c) In choosing myself, I project a certain image of what it means to be human;

d) Therefore, in choosing myself, I choose man.

Sartre is suggesting that we go beyond purely subjective and personal concerns and try to take some responsibility for others when he speaks of “choosing man.” At best, at highest, he is really saying “In choosing myself, I construct universality.”  So, no, though we are free, we must respect the freedom of others. Thus, not everything is permitted. Ethics binds us. After all, we are social creatures in community with one another.

In sum, what I term a “life of value” has two parts: one is about fulfilling yourself and finding meaning by prioritizing, or “living” the values that you authentically possess. When your life is consistent with what you truly value, then your life just “feels right.” Beyond fulfilling yourself and valuing your life, when you live a life of value, you make positive differences to those around you – be it your family, your community, your country, or our world. It is as though, objectively, your life is “valuable” to someone or something beyond yourself – that the Earth breathes easier with you here. Hence, you derive a subjective sense of value from your life because you are living your values, but further, your life has some objective value beyond how you feel. This is really advanced authenticity.

Here are a few quotes about authenticity, self-definition, becoming, and maturity that grab my attention:

“It requires philosophy and heroism to rise above the opinion of the wise men of all nations and races.” ~ Elizabeth Cady Stanton

“In making our choices, we need to respect the freedom of others. I am obliged to will the freedom of others at the same time as I will my own. I cannot set my own freedom as a goal without also setting the freedom of others as a goal.” ~ Jean-Paul Sartre

“As we proceed in the act of creation, the litmus test is always about authenticity. Is this your voice, your soul, your story coming through this piece? The idea of seed you’re cultivating has surfaced for a purpose and awaits the originality only you can bring to it.” ~ Jan Phillips & Ruth Westreich

“Dare to be yourself.” ~ Andre Gide

“Remember always that you have not only the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

“Man is never so authentically himself as when at play.” ~ Friedrich Schiller

“There are many who are living far below their possibilities because they are continually handing over their individualities to other. Do you want to be a power in the world? Then be yourself. Be true to the highest within your soul, and then allow yourself to be governed by no customs or conventionalities or arbitrary man-made rules that are not founded on principle.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Social situations do profoundly influence individuals. But individuals also influence social situations. The two interact. Asking whether external situations or inner dispositions determine behavior is like asking whether length or width determine a room’s area.” ~ David G. Meyers and Jean M. Twenge

“to be yourself – in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else – means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop.” ~ e. e. cummings

“When ‘the common good’ of a society is regarded as something apart from and superior to the individual good of its members, it means that the good of some men takes precedence over the good of others, with those others consigned to the status of sacrificial animals.” ~ Ayn Rand

“Be yourself. Who is better qualified?” ~ Frank J. Giblin II

“When we blindly adopt a religion, a political system, a literary dogma, we become automatons. We cease to grow.” ~ Anais Nin

“Often we want to try and retain our self, to be confident and courageous. Wisdom is required to determine when is the right time – or it’s not confidence, but dogmatism. It is wise to be yourself – but with the realization that your self needs continual improvement. We simply never arrive at perfection – or at least we don’t linger there long. And the less you try to cling to that, the more face-saving it is when you discover the need to change.” ~ Jason Merchey

“To truly serve, purpose must be connected to our unique authenticity. That is why money cannot serve as our purpose. It can be a goal, but not a purpose.” ~ Lenedra J. Carroll

“There’s an interesting parallel, I think, between the way Faust ends, and Fichte’s view that in the selfless life – in ‘de-individuating’ ourselves, in giving up the merely personal, private exercise of freedom, and externalizing all of the possibilities of freedom for the benefit of the many – we end up at once with a life that is thoroughly authentic.” ~ Daniel N. Robinson

“Of course, most of us do not believe that we can be happy no matter what the external circumstance. When confronted with the idea that happiness is ultimately in the mind, many of us immediately entertain extreme examples that falsify the theory: could we be happy even if we break a bone or lose our job? To me, those are the wrong questions to ask. The right question to ask is whether we can be happy given the types of negative events that routinely occur in our lives.” ~ Raj Raghunathan

And, two challenging ones:

“The great danger that America faces is that we will cease to be one nation and become instead a collection of interest groups: city against suburb, region against region, individual against individual. Each seeking to satisfy private wants. If that happens, who will then speak for America? Who will look out for the common good?” ~ Barbara Jordan

“By narcissism is meant ceasing to have an authentic interest in the outside world but instead an intense attachment to oneself, to one’s own group, clan, religion, nation, race, etc. – with consequent serious distortions of rational judgment.” ~ Erich Fromm

Mind & Matter in Collective Change

Mind & Matter in Collective Change

At this point in human history (herstory), we’ve come to a place where the lid is being blown off the insidious crimes of humanity.   The crimes have been going on forever, I suppose, at least since man has walked this earth and it might be the reason for the story of leaving the Garden of Eden.   But, for today, with the technology and information explosion we have a new way to share it…to learn, grow, discover and inform.   The power of the Gaia web of information is being used against us…and we are also using it for collective potential.

The “information” is an awareness.  However, the awareness will not be the fuel for change.  The fuel comes from the inner being.

One part of me says….get this people (see video below)..wake up and see this reality….the other part of me says, “my gosh the story us human’s weave” …. soap opera drama lovers…. we are!

Yes, I get this is happening and is important. Yes, I get it is a dream weaved from a collective too. It is so easy to say this is happening “out there” and not our responsibility. A weak thread in the process of evolution.  We are not the audience sitting watching this happen!  This is happening in the inner and outer.   We have work to do!

What it is to be human? One is to stand in two camps, one foot in each, on the one foot space/time, the everyday consensus reality, the matrix, call it what you will. Your other foot is in the inner world. Without both, we will always be in a dilemma folks!

We are all at a place where the two lands come together. You are the bridge between finite and infinite, between limits and limitlessness. You bring, if you choose, limitless and infinite love into a world….a world that is, indeed, starved for love. That inner world only has the borders, the governance and the results of your own make up…and that you have power over. Work it!

Hatred, arrogance, division and imbalance of the individual will NOT aid in the progress towards a great place for us to be, here, together…no matter what enfolds in this “plan to save the world”. Are you getting fed up with the bickering yet? What is your inner bickering? Might want to deal with that first!

It does not matter how well-intentioned you are, your good intention rises from the context of your conceptions – YOUR INNER WORLD …and this is useless in effecting change unless they are driven and guided by (and with) a cultivated wisdom. This needs to be extended from you (and me) as an individual to the collective. The only ways to truly do this is to get totally real in your personal world…do the inner work. If you don’t think you need any inner work, therein lies a problem! This isn’t happening just “out there”. The two sides need to meet, merge and become one for any lasting beautiful change. Stop the division!!!! Stop the stories that are NOT aiding the change.

To Trump or Not

To Trump or Not

I know I am not alone in feeling like the tribulations of humanity are suffocatingly insane and very sad right now. I am so fucking done with politics and I have no idea how the left or right or anyone in between can take a stand in integrity right now. It is a trap to keep us entertained, divided and distracted.

It is a game gone crazy and, quite frankly, the structures of power WILL NOT be the redemption of our species. Let’s listen to the children sing!

Whether you are left or right, agree or disagree, there is so much hidden and so much out of our ability to deeply understand or comprehend. Think about it….we can now carefully choose our facts to prove our stances and kill the mockingbird, so to speak. Keep the “somewhat” intelligent bickering and the crimes will continue in the chattering (mis) information carefully sent out to keep us distracted. No matter what perspective you are looking from, quite frankly it sucks! Where is the wisdom? A child sings!

Reality check folks WE ARE ALL THE SAME.

There are many of us are sweetly living out lives of convenience and instant gratification that charges us with a sense of false nobility and arrogance. We are numbed by being born into a state of errant wealth. This is not just the insanely rich (1%)…this is the average person with a roof over their head and a soft bed at night. We are pawns…all of us…and all caught in this game. What has happened to the family, the grandmothers and grandfathers, the space of love where our home is the formation of the life lived well?

There are those who are born into absolute poverty, drugs, sex and scandals far beyond our comprehension. In this state, these children will do anything to survive. Yet, this earth we live upon can feed us all and the evil the exists doesn’t really care how many are victims. It is a dark evil monster! I am wondering why we give it so much attention…does this not feed the evil thing?

Many years ago when I was in South Africa, the poverty and disease disgusted me…and I judged it as I heard the history and talked to the people. I took political and even religious sides and views at the horrors I saw. And then I learned something so much deeper! Even though the “politics of power” removed the people’s language, their culture and their ways…even though the AIDS was destroying the family unit in an attempt to disarm their Spirits, the tenacity of the people was incredible. When I heard them sing it touched more deeply than I have ever experienced before. It touched me more than any moment in my entire life. It is this memory that holds me in hope. Our governments will not be the answer…the answer lies in the core of each and everyone of us to sing a song of beauty and make choices to really make a lasting difference. We have to stop the bickering and hold on to this Spirit!

And, honestly, I don’t know what to do but I do know that our structures of power are WAY to big and the politics of money is way to strong and our focus on those structures is way out of control. It is NOT the answer. Sing little ones, SING!

The complications of humanities politics are steeped in the blood of disgrace driven by the hand of power and money and the children are the pawns.

I look forward to the day it crumbles…and we get a chance to start again…that will be a sad day for many…and a day of hope for some.

God, Creator, Mamma, Papa, and all those other names we give the “great” one in different views, guide us to be children of love….and infuse a little bit of hope!

Fake Humans

Fake Humans

We are all born helpless and learn how survive the drama’s around us. Some of us learn survival is selfish. Perhaps the some is most. As the craziness of the world’s affairs increases, so does the craziness of the human condition. And, my theme of late is to back off, withdraw and let it dismantle itself as it surely will.

The time is ripe for the emptying and cleaning up so the adventure of living is not lost and left behind. We can not change the “what is”. The time is ripe for withdrawal and leaving behind all that is fake including people, culture and comfortable ways.

The central theme in the bumps of these challenging times is “let it be” and carry on. We need to back off! We need to recreate without the shenanigans of loud selfish people. We need to hand off that crap behind us and allow it to ferment on its’ own accord.

The increasing understanding of the “withdrawal” muse had me wondering if this was some personal neurosis…something about me that is perhaps a wee misguided or forsaken. But, every morning the sounds of new day song chiming between night and day, I hear it again….withdrawal seems to be the only logical, loving and wise choice.

I am highly intuitive and I have a way that appears, at times, to be cut, dry and to the point. I’ve never been good at hiding my feelings or keeping them to myself. This is because I can not and will not be phoney and have empathic points all over my body. I wear my emotions and feelings on my sleeve and I have a talent to “get” people more than they would like me too. Seriously, in the past, I have looked away as the sight of one’s darkness is revealed and I’ve been afraid they will see me seer-ing. I stumble to hide my gut instincts. What I have gathered is that most of us learn a way to be “phoney” and “pretend” (even the empath) that is not really healthy nor will it amount to any wise change and growth.

I contemplate the human condition(s) and watch how people act, react and respond to life and more and more I see slippery selfishness gone wild.

So, I am fed up with seeing this. I won’t be mean, but I won’t also put up a fake front either as I know it is the flip side of the phoney coin. I realize that way too many people can put up a fake front and we learn to be good at it. And, unfortunately the phoney’s are increasing.

Luckily I have “real” people in my life. However, there is a growing number of selfish humans that have a misfired “code” often using new age “spiritual” willy-nilly to rationalize their actions and doings. “I feel good” so this must be right; I will be generous in spirit only if you acknowledge me; I will show the world my good actions so that you see me as love but behind your back I will curse you. It wreaks pretentious muck and slams a noise of utter selfishness.

Human drama is confusing, to say the least. I know, full out, I have high standards in the art of human connections. The high standard can seems as a weakness, in many ways but it is not. For years I trusted most people and I assumed we all had this code of human kindness. The wake up for me is that is not true. It is truer that most people are selfish and really only care about themselves. It is truer that empathy and the empath are withdrawing from the crazy human ways and that is a good thing.

Am I being too pessimistic about humans? I don’t think so. The cultural manipulations and mind-programs have actually been designed towards this result.

Over the years as I came to realize this phoney noise. There have been times when I found myself in puddles of sadness and grief not really knowing why. I just witnessed too many encounters when I asked “how could humans be that way?” Sure, I get it, this is the victim in me crying foul. But, I am gaining my own wisdom in this playground and getting wiser to phoney’s and the victim is slowing fading away.

Walking away is the only solution to this human dilemma. All other ways just feed into the drama of destruction and continuation. Give this air space attention and it feeds into louder noise.

The ones who lack in the core values of human decency come in many shapes, sizes and with many hats. We all, to a certain degree, have selfish voices of inner noise. But, the ones who are destroying things in a devastating way have two things in common; they really just don’t care and they are really all about themselves.

Unfortunately, we are all become intimate with these types at some point and the after taste is difficult to swallow. As life travels deeper in time for me, I contemplate the fact that friendship with nature is far easier and happier than dealing with human beings. That thought rises as I discover most human beings don’t care…or if they do it is masked with “what is it in for me?” You can recognize a phoney in that if they have done a kind act, they expect and ask for acknowledgement. Acknowledgement is a good thing, in and of itself, but when the driving force of is the acknowledgement, it is not human kind.

I call these non-caring beings Phoney Human Beings (PHBs) and they are increasing in numbers to the extent that we can’t escape their ways and disastrous off shoots. What is the difference between someone who appears to have a selfish confidence and a narcissist? Not much, in my opinion. In the narcissist court we see the varying types ranging from arrogant, self-centred, opinionated, ruthless, hard, cold, callous, righteous, sociopath and the top of the cake, psychopath.

Friends don’t screw you! They back you up. I also play the game friends will sacrifice for each other. They’ll be there in times of need and extend themselves for the sake of the moral code of friendship. We learn in time that many friendships are false and this wake-up can be difficult.

The empath will often make excuses and gather reasons for the PHB’s selfish behaviour. That is the empath’s weakness. And, empaths are tested in this regard We all have moments when you become aware that those you trusted can not actually be.

Some serious PHBs will lie, steal and manipulate for their own shell fish needs and some even for fun. Some will just operate out of selfishness. That is how PHBs work. It is like ego nourishment so that they “feel” okay.

Being outed doesn’t matter to PHBs. They simply don’t care and will pretend they are “above” and feel very justified in themselves and their choices. Somehow they completely and unabashedly believe their own lies and continue in the same manner.

I do hold a compassion for PHBs. This is because I am an empath. They won’t change and, as much I as have in past tried, it is futile to attempt a change. The only way to truly remove the PHBs is to walk away.

If you haven’t already figured it out, PHBs are the new human thing that has been morph-rising and increasing in intensity with the top of the PHB pile being the psychopath.

From a scientific observation, they are border line personalities. Their brains actually work differently. Scientists are not sure if this is something they were born with or if it is the cause of a trauma at a young age. The waves of light that should transfer between the right and left hemispheres opening up our empathic potentials are dull or totally nonexistent. The right and left are not communicating. It is a mind game error. And, they learn how to “act” the game for their own benefit and survival and selfish fun. They learn how to act as “good” and “victim” so that their game is beneficial for their own purposes. It comes at different and varying degrees of dis-ease. The acute stage are those who are just self-ish and all about themselves. The chronic and degenerative stage is the psychopath.

I have read that full blow PHBs now amount to over 10% of the world’s population and will dehumanize and affect at least 50 people in their life-time. The world’s population now sits at a crazy 7.6 billion. Ten percent of that number is 76 million. Seventy Six million times 50 is 3,800,000,000 people affect by NIBOs. Holy Freaking Shit! We are not alone!

So, what can we do? Well, honestly, unless the “whole” is willing to notice and see it, there is nothing other than to be just aware. One good way to to remove yourself completely and stay away. When you discover a PHB in your intimate circle it is diffifcult…but quietly, unobtrusively and completely walk away.

If you don’t, at some point you will walk away wondering what the hell was all that about. When we become intimate with PHBs and enter that mind-fuck arena, you will at some point require personal re-wiring and healing. That basically means telling yourself over and over and over “you are okay” until, once again, you believe it. If you put up a fight, you will lose. You have to walk away and literally have nothing to do with them. You can’t help them. You have to lay down any desire for justice and fairness. You have to give up. Nothing you say or do is going to change the PHB. The best you can hope for is your dignity is in tact. Once again, the only true medicine to cure the world of PHBs is if everyone got it…and everyone said “no”.

Unfortunately, PHBs are truly another type of human thing that is increasing in population numbers. In fact, I suggest that in today’s corporate and political world, PHBs are the only ones that can achieve and surmount the successes of the cut-throat and don’t-give-a-shit hierarchies. An empath can’t step up that ladder…their values prevent it. This means that those who have any sense of care and consideration are not in positions of worldly power. Now, can you see the problem?

Is there hope? Is there something we can do? My thoughts on this at this particular time in mystory is we need to withdraw. It is in the leaving and exiting of the compassionate and empathic being from that PHB world that will cause a rediscovery of who we are and where we need to go. We can not fix it anymore. We can’t repair it. We can’t fight it. We just have to walk away cleanly, clearly and with grace.

There is hope in the withdrawal because eventually, they will destroy themselves. That is a calming karmic consolation.

I wish there was a magic serum for a PHB to drink that would rewire their brains for empathy. That would be wonderful. Maybe it is only karma that will deal with this!

Also, I am learning that when you find yourself in a state of complaining, it is best to walk away so the negative charge is annihilated and the mind micro chip disabled.
